We are playing in Mobile just like why we have played in Birmingham, Memphis, and New Orleans in the past and will play in Hattiesburg next year. Its a short trip for our fans and an easy win plus we can schedule 2 for 1 or even a 3 for 1 in the case of UAB.

So you don't think that any SEC team should EVER go on the road unless its an SEC game or a top 25 type BCS opponent???

New coach with talent has always done well at the end of the season in the SEC. Just a prediction. I'm sure I'll be wrong.

To answer the question, I think this season will be hit or miss. I would be taking the safe route if I said we would win 8. I think we either hit it big with 9 or drop down to 7. So I'm gonna agree with your friend and say 9 wins. I think Ole Miss is a win for us just like it has been 4 out of the last 5 years.

Be careful, Ladd-Peebles is a hot mess.
Granted, UA might have put some money into it with the SENior Bowl and whatnot but it sure was a dump when I was there a few years back.
Random - Watched USM play TCU there in the GMAC Bowl. It was LT's last college game and our seats were really close to the field - it was pretty unreal watching him make cuts thats close, he was so gross.
