How do you explain Cam only scoring 17 last year? You guys are gonna have to wake up and face reality. This Trotter kid ain't 1/10th the player Cam was last year.

Probably not, but we can't read the future yet...

What? Why would I be butthurt? Where am I siding with AU fans? Where am I flaming State? I was stating the obvious. You must be really stupid...

It was fricking week 2. Quit acting like yall just completely shut him down. That offense hadnt gotten going yet. I am not siding with auburn either, just stating my opinion which is if state had played auburn in the back end they would have recieved it there.

probably not, but he's still twice as good as anybody y'all have. Keep enjoying 5th place though and losing to every sec west team outside ole miss.

Yeah atleast you will have that NC trophy when you go 7-5 this year. It won't feel too bad
7-5 at Auburn will get your seat a little warm. 7-5 at State gets you a raise and a few job offers at better schools. That's the difference between a real program and a wannabe. We will gladly show you a few more differences when the 2nd game of the season gets here.

I find it hilarious that MSU fans think that they have earned shite talking privileges.
It'll be even funnier when MSU's program on the rise loses again to an Auburn team which doesn't have any good players left.

This guy begs to Differ.
He won 9 games as a starter last season including 4 SEC games and a bowl victory over Michigan.
Barrett Trotter has NEVER taken a meaningful snap. I hope he is ready to face a SEC defense week two especially without an experienced OL.

You guys are fielding a big red x?
I'm honestly not that scared about the looks of our offense next year. The offensive line situation isn't as dire as people paint it, even though we are an injury or two from being boned. Let's just say, we have talent and we have Malzahn, so I'm confident.

Was it this time last year that Cam Newton was going to be Brent Schaeffer Part 2?

You guys are talking about having to start 2 TRUE FRESHMEN on the OL, that seems dire to me.
As high rated as they are in HS their stars aren't going to help them block 21 and 22 year old men in the SEC.

and Nick Fairley was just a guy who was going to have to step in and fill the void left by Ricks.

I think we're looking at two seniors, a junior, a RS Freshman, and a true freshman.
Three of those guys have plenty of experience and should be solid. Eric Mack and Blake Burgess will be the inexperienced ones.
Second string is weak with Chad Slade and a bunch of freshman.

I don't know where the hell you got this from. The ONLY freshman OL that has a serious consideration of us "having to start" is Dismukes at center.
Now its thought that a guy like Westerman will have the ability to come in and compete and (if he's as good as they say) win a starting job. But nobody has said that we are in such dire straights that we will HAVE to start him.
Our starting tackles are likely to be A.J. Greene and Brandon Mosley. Both of those guys started last year. Then we have kids like John Sullen (who played a lot last year as a sub), Eric Mack, and Chad Slade who are primary candidates to be the starters at guard.
Stop making shite up.

I guess Mississippi State is going to be worse this year since we only return 9 starters on Offense and 7 on Defense.

AU has won 9 or more games seven times since the year 2000.
MSU has won 9 or more games four times since the end of WW2.
Four 9+ win seasons since the end of WW2 has been the pinnacle of MSU existence. Not much of a track record.
So forgive me for thinking that you guys may NOT be traveling back to the top of the MSU mountain two years in a row.

1 True Freshman might start at center and a RS freshman will likely start at one of the guards. The other 3 projected starters are all upper classman and all have started in the past. They won't be as good as last years OL but there aren't to many teams in the country that will be on the same level as our 2010 unit.
