Yancy pointed out today that December signees don't count towards the 28 just the 25. No numbers crunch

I haven't been paying a lot of attention lately. What's going on? Are we supposed to be looking good come NSD?

Yes. Every player that has ever been committed to Mississippi State ever will switch their commitment to Ole Miss on Saturday. They will then put on Ole Miss baseball caps, pull photographs of Dan Mullen out of their pockets, place them in a pile, set the pile ablaze, and then piss it out while singing "Forward Rebels." They'll all show off their awesome new back tattoos which feature, amongst other things, oak trees and Houston Nutt laughing. Then Humphrey Coliseum will collapse.
It'll be live on NBC. You won't want to miss it.

The newest thing I have heard about NB is pretty interesting. The Army- All American game will not let you announce during the game if you are going to announce for the team you are committed to because all 70 would announce and they wouldn't have the time. So Brassell cannot say MSU saturday because that is who is already commiteed too. So it is either Ole Miss or an out of state school but we all really know what that means.

So maybe that's why CJ Johnson decommitted. So he can announce for State during the game.
Here's to hoping that Brassell officially decommits from MSU today.

You have to put your form in to announce on Monday and at that time CJ was still a State commit. On that note though I don't think he is set to announce tomorrow. Only ones that are announcing are NB and TS, I'm pretty sure.

I have also heard that Ole Miss's WR coach is head candidate for a D- 1AA job. The only good thing about this is the top candidate to fill his job is Melvin Smith who was recruiting Tobias at UCLA. Tobias quit talking to UCLA when Smith was fired so that say something about Tobias's relationship with Smith.
Edit: Coach is Reggie Moore not Melvin Smith. I fricked up the name.

Melvin Smith has been with MSU for the past few years, IIRC.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking. The facts were right about the UCLA coach......just wrong name. Rivals doesn't have his name listed under Tobias's profile.
