Y'all know I'm having some fun with you Tennessee fans...I know you love and appreciate UT and its traditions.
Neyland does, indeed, have a lot of history. I'm just kidding about bulldozing and tearing it down...it is one of the most historic of on-campus stadiums in the country. Being on the river with all the boats coming in loaded with fans...great sight.
My only complaint about the stadium from a fan's standpoint is the incredibly tight seating...more narrow and tighter than any other stadium I've been in the country. However, it is loud and can be intimidating, especially at night when the Vols have a very good team.

No need arguing with a Keller Chryst fan.

Part of the noise stems from that we have such a tightly packed crowd in a relatively small space. Kind of a double edged sword. Sure it’s uncomfortable but I’ve been ok with that.

It's a great stadium. I've attended games there when I felt it's been louder than any game I've attended at LSU. I went to UT's 1990 game vs. Notre Dame (a 34-29 loss) and UT's crowd screaming against the Irish was something else and I'll never forget it. Great game that was, too!

Football was just better back then IMO. No piped in rap music or endless garbage on the Jumbotron

last i heard, state was going to do something with the south endzone. Not sure if this is still the look they are going for.
What is with state and putting apartments in their outfields and endzones?

More suites and other BS amenities for people who aren’t their to make noise
The suites aren't what killed the noise in Neyland...the Jumbotron and replay killed it. Everyone goes quiet to watch the replay on the screen. It completely takes the momentum of the crowd out of it.
