Heads exploding is the only tragic result I see coming. Hell, some of them are almost there with the schedule we have now.

Good point

Typical Bammer to still count it.

Bama does not want to play Tennessee as a non-conference game because that would kill the permanent opponent rule and ruin their unfair scheduling advantage against TAM and LSU for divisional titles.

TAM will play USCar and win 60% to 70%

LSU continues to split their matchups with Florida--50% to 50%

Bama continues to cruise through Tennessee with perfect success--8-0 and still counting--100%.

Bama wants to keep that easy W on the schedule. I don't know why more bammers won't admit this.

This is hilarious....even when Bama doesn't "just win" they get a 2nd chance

They know loses to Florida have determined the SEC West divisional title in the past, and they want to continue taking advantage of Florida knocking off LSU on average 50% of the time.

Going to a 6-2 scheduling format ruins their unfair scheduling advantage, and they don't want to give that up.

Absolutely correct. Sorry LSU doesn't have the clout to push around the SEC

Wasn't our coach the only one who voted for a 9 game SEC slate? Wouldn't that ruin our unfair advantage?
