Oh you didn't watch Dooley enough. We had the same issue of too many men on the field against several teams throughout his tenure, though he did eventually get it down to 12 men on the field.

Bama is winning the games on their schedule. Lsu isn't. Lsu fans seem to think it's because they have to play tough teams. Bama fans seem to think, if you're going to be the best, then just win. All Lsu had to do last year was beat Bama. All they have to do this year is beat the same West teams Bama plays as well.

No one outside of the SEC gives a damn about TSIO. Or UF/UGA. Or any other rivalry in the SEC for that matter. Hell, most probably think LSU/Bama is the main rivalry given the last few match-ups.

While that's true, he went through several and the problem never resolved itself.

In 2 of Lsu's last 4 SEC Championships, they had 2 losses, and 3 losses. In the entire history of the SEC, only one other team won the conference with more than 1 loss. That was a 2 loss Ga in 2005.
Instead of trying to figure out ways to make other teams lose. Why not just focus on doing more to win. Since 1933, not every team had an easy schedule. Making out that it's the only way teams can win the SEC is kinda disingenuous.

Dooley was clearly a horrible coach but I'll say it again.
He was in a terrible position coming in after Kiffin. And he definitely had some unlucky moments.
Hopefully Butch turns things around. I love Tennessee football. I As I said earlier, I've been to more games in Neyland than in TS due to living in Tennessee.

Nobody has said that (I think anyways). But it certainly makes it a hell of a lot easier.
I for one like the roommate switch option. You can keep your rivalries and all the SEC teams get to play each other at least once every 2-4 years (I think).
It may not be perfect but it's better than what we have as of now.
Not all of this comes down to Alabama. If we're going to expand as a conference we need to all be playing each other.

Oh God yes, Kiffin burnt down the house and even recruited players to go with him. Tennessee will be good again, imo. Butch Jones has a fire Dooley didn't possess and it's contagious. It's just a matter of when that happens.
And for the record, I've always liked LSU and LSU fans. Never had anything but a good time with y'all.

You must have missed the entire conversation before that. Govt Tide said LSU fans don't know anything about rivalries. And compared it ice fishing or some retarded shite.
I simply pointed out that we all have pro teams that we are fans of that have big time rivalries.
Maybe there was some disconnect afterwards but I really don't see the issue.
