Coaches poll had us at #20. We're the only team with 7 wins last to appear on SI's poll. Only Tennessee joins us for that distinction with the Coaches poll.

I'm really not sure how this is anything but awesome coming off of '12, '13, and '14.

2 AU-way overrated
5 Bama-about right
11 UGA-slightly underrated
13 OM-way overrated
20 Miz-about right
22 Ark-overrated
23 LSU-way underrated
25 State- about right

Tenn should be ranked in the 20's.

Agreed.

The big tittied girlfriend of the left tackle has more control over games than polls.

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS
2014 RECORD: 7-6
When coach Bret Bielema left Wisconsin for? Arkansas in 2012, SEC watchers were doubtful that his grunt-and-grind, pro-style scheme ?would work against like-minded bullies LSU and ?Alabama. After shutting out the Tigers and coming within a fumble of beating the Tide last year, ?the Razorbacks turned many of those skeptics ?into believers. Arkansas finished 7-6 but had ?more heartbreaking misses than Dustin Johnson? at the majors. Four starters are back on an offensive line that was the conference’s best, as are senior Jonathan Williams and junior Alex Collins, ?the country’s only tandem of 1,000-yard backs ?last year.

LSU TIGERS
2014 RECORD: 8-5
After an impressive if inconsistent freshman season—six games with 52 yards or less rushing and five games of more than 100—Leonard Fournette will be one of the nation’s most exciting players. The 6' 1", 230-pounder will be the focal point of coach Les Miles’s offense, especially because the Tigers have yet to determine who will be under center. It helps that LSU has a veteran offensive line and one of the nation’s best young receiving units in 6' 3" sophomore Malachi Dupre, 6' 2" junior Travin Dural and speedy 6-foot sophomore slot receiver John Diarse.

interesting

How is LSU ranked? They only won 8 games last year, and they lost the best member of their coaching staff. They don't have a QB and their DEs are mediocre at best.

True, but they are the GOAT for creating meaningless preseason football message board fodder...

The poll does a few things right:

1. No Tennessee. #VB is not ready for preseason accolades no matter what Updyke says.

2. LSU @ #23. On paper this is the worst preseason roster I've seen in recent LSU history (this is almost a compliment considering how much NFL talent they've produced in the last 10 years).

3. Putting Miz in the Top 20. Say what you want about Miz, all they do is win the East and taking the preseason polls from 2013 and 2014 and wipe their asses with it.

4. Bama @ #5. Obviously Bama isn't on paper going to be what they were even a year ago, but until otherwise proven it's hard to discredit them. They can still make the CFB playoff.

What the poll does wrong:

1. Auburn @ 2. Considering the lack of a proven defense and the gauntlet facing them in the SEC West, this is too damn high. TCU should be the consensus #2. Marshall will be missed in the running game including his ability to covert broken plays. Top 5 team preseason seems good, but not #2. TCU is a more-complete team.

2. Notre Dame @ 4. No explanation needed.

Misspelling aside, your sentence structure is as horrid as your defense.
