no one's saying you don't. just pointing out auburn is a solid program that will be back up soon and the idea of region wanting to go play for them is not as unbelievable some of you bama fans want to believe.

We had the toughest schedule in the nation by FAR. Like, nobody else even came within a mile of it. And three teams had one loss. Auburn = best resume.
And Miami, they got blown the frick out by Florida. The same Florida team that we beat.
In other words, GTFO

They were. That's not really the point 1999 was trying to make. Everytime someone says Auburn isn't a shitty team, Alabama fans starts throwing out their SEC championships and national championships. That wasn't his point. Nobody is trying to say Auburn is better or even comparable to Alabama, but we're also not a cellar dweller. Historically, we're one of the better programs in college football. Not top 10, barely top 20, but not the 6-6 football program that we're always accused of being.

I just want you folks to admit that something STRANGE happened that we don't know about. You don't just "switch to AU" after saying this 15 minutes ago:

he has some teams in the 90's that were as bad as any team in the SEC has ever been. we had plenty of down years in the last thirty years
