I will give you that Coach, but your basketball knowledge is subpar to football and it aint even close.
I really believe that Stansbury did something to you or a family member of yours for you have have such a strong grudge against the man. You have even compared him to Croom before.

I hate to say this but more and more coaches are going to start taking jabs at Ole Miss calling them the Black Bears. Even some in state sports writers have taking jabs if you want to call them that by calling OM the Black Bears.

That's probably true & really who cares. They can say what they want. It will only rile up the insecure fans. It will go away over time.

How is that even a jab? What makes you think that it bothers me? Our mascot is a black bear and some people are too fricking stupid to not know the difference between a mascot and a team name. Why should that "jab" at me?

My saying Standsbury plays a very weak schedule every year?
My saying that we have an average program because of one at-large bid the last 6 years?

My saying that Anthony Grant was going to be a good coach for a major program when he was at VCU?

I dont have any grudge. I just dont want him as our basketball coach. I've said way worse things about Crooms, but nobody ever said stupid things like "I really believe that Crooms did something to you or a family member"...
Standsbury is living off his good 4 year run from 2001-2005. 1998-2000 wasnt very good, and now 2006-2011 hasnt been very good. It's as simple as that.

It's how you take it DC. Your a good poster and as an OM alum im sure you know how much many OM supporters love Col. Reb and consider him your true mascot. I think of it as a jab b/c OM fans see it as a way other in state coaches are using it as a way to put down Col. Reb.

Everything Coach says about stansbury is 100% accurate

I couldn't care any less about what nickname people choose to call us by and that isn't the issue here with what Fedora said(even though I don't really care about that either).
What we're making fun of with Mullen(and what Fedora just did) is how he commends his co-workers for beating Ole Miss but you don't hear a peep out of them when they beat other teams(even far more prestigious teams)

This. It does seem a little childish to me. I can just picture Mullen watching a live gamecast of women's rifle....waiting for state to beat ole miss so he can send out his tweet.

Wow fourth most in the SEC? Wow I Say. The key is one at-large bid though. Anyone can win 20 games a year with our schedule. Well, except our 2010-11 team.

As much as Ole Miss fans try to act otherwise, beating in state schools is a big thing. Its like beating your HS rival. I would rather beat my HS football rival as compared to a higher ranked team that we had no history with. Beating in state rivals are big for players who played against each other in HS, and also to fans who can brag about the win over their rivals to their friends and family members.

This is where we differ then. I'd much rather beat So. Cal, Texas(minus last season), Oklahoma, etc. than beat a typically below average MSU squad.

I forgot to think about Vandy having a couple of good years 5 and 6 years ago.
Find it crazy we are tied with LSU, they have only won 5 SEC games the past two years.
