Anyways - that bronze Gamecock has been a long time coming. They've been talking to sculptors and looking at renditions, including small models cast in bronze, for years.

There are some structural engineering hurdles that had to be overcome. I'm glad they chose the bronze over the granite and stainless steel designs.
