Don’t laugh. He might be your last choice in this rat race. Especially if Texas chunks Sark to the curb. LSU can’t pay buyouts much less compete with Texas.

He took State to a bowl every year for 8 years. He didn’t get them there the first year cleaning up their garbage. Then he goes to Florida and gets them the East title and back to Atlanta in 2020. But they fire him the next year because they expect national titles every year. Like drunk hicks at a dive bar. Now in his first year back in coaching in 2025 he is 9-2.
So please tell me what’s so bad here? I’d take him at Ole Miss if we are searching. Wouldn’t be my first choice but Mullen is a winner.

He destroyed our program at the end but he might do better in the era of NIL. The East was pretty bad when Mullen was here also.

We were literally two plays from 7 wins his first year. And one of those plays was an absolute mindbending obvious frickup of a bad illegal forward pass call by the refs.
There is a ton of the fanbase that would heave Lebby out of his office window right now if Mullen would sign back on.
