If I was a betting man I'd take LSU. I just don't see them losing that bad at home. There's a reason I don't bet on sports though.

Vegas only cares about one thing and one thing only: Balancing the money that comes in so that roughly half of the money is bet on one team and half is bet on the other. So long as they are roughly equal, Vegas maximizes its profit on commissions. It's all about balancing the scales and has jack shite to Vegas "caring" or "liking" one team more than the other.
The line is merely a reflection of the market. Saying Vegas cares or likes someone is as intelligent as saying the NY Stock Exchange "loves" Apple or Google stock.

If you're saying that's why the line moved from -7 to -10, then well duh.
The line is merely a reflection of the "market price" as determined by the betting public -- aka the market.
With the way Bama has been playing so far (the reason they have every single #1 vote in the polls) and the way LSU's offense has performed so far, I'm not really surprised. LSU hasn't given sober people much reason to think they can beat Bama. Can't count us out and Miles often surprises people but the odds do not look very good at all. And people have placed their bets accordingly.
Now where's that Bama fap gif when I need it?

This is 100% wrong bro. Vegas would much rather have the team that only 20% of the bettors win than it being 50/50 & only winning juice.

No need to "Grind" when you have LSU's defense. The only grind will be Montgomery, Mingo, Freak and the rest of the D line on AJ.......and then later that night they get to grind on his momma's tittays. Deal with it.

no...he's right. would they rather the 20% win? sure. but thats rare. the best chance they have to profit is to push the bets to as close as 50/50 as possible. that way they're guaranteed a profit.
