This thread brings out one of my favorite things to see. A bunch of longhorn fans from the big 12 spending time on SECrant. How interesting. And we're the obsessed ones?

Think they are here for the aggy gangbang

I came on here to talk about the game and get the perspective from Baton Rouge. All I found was a bunch of sad aggy posters screaming about how over us they are.
Back to football- I think it’s gonna be close. If Sam stays healthy and uses his legs to move the pile, we should be able to put up points. Our linebackers are young but talented- going to be trial by fire against coach o and his rushing attack. Also gotta figure out a way to get pressure on defense- Orlando dialed up a perfect game plan against UGA to do this but had arguably better blitzing pieces.
Night game = there will be deaths

It won't be close at all - at least a 14 point win for LSU, and probably more than that to be truthful

Aggy bleeding everywhere in this thread. Such a shame.

Sorry - I have nothing but disdain for teams from the BDF that haven't a clue how to actually play defense. That includes EVERY BDF team. I never realized the difference until A&M moved to the SEC, and has had to spend the last seven years adapting to the physical style and the grind
It's a very, very large difference
To be clear, both the BDF and PAC play pathetic "football", and there is a reason that they fare so poorly in the playoffs

Clicks thread, titled: Sorry A&M. Gameday will be LSU at Texas not A&M at Clemson

ColoradoAg- you seem supremely confident. I’ll bet you $500 that LSU does not win by “at least 14 points.”

Believe me, ColoradoAg. I'm sure Herman is busy studying the defensive shut down A&M put on LSU last year. Or sorry, the one LSU put on A&M.
Tell us again how Texas wasn't going to be able to handle the Georgia defense.
Dolt.

I was at that game.
Nothing special at all
just a bunch of t-shirt fans on there phones, with occasional cheering during big plays

Sorry, it's impossible to play "physical" football against crap competition. The reality is that Texas only plays one decent in-conference team every year. One.
You haven't a clue what you are lining up against in LSU, as we did not either seven years ago. Look how you fared against the likes of the dregs in the B1G like Maryland, for instance. Yes, you beat UGA - a team that just didn't give a crap about the game. But Congrats for winning anyway
Teams like UA, UGA, and LSU typically don't give a crap once knocked out of the race for the Championship. I know you don't want to hear it, but it's true

UGA didn't give a crap.
Couldn't see that response coming. Typical crap fom typical aggy ad nauseum.

No, that's a shitty excuse. Any team not willing to get prepared for a bowl game is NOT a good team.

Well, that and multiple starters sitting out the game to prepare for the draft.
We've already established that Smart is not that great of a coach, but he typically has enough of a talent advantage to overcome it.

It's not an excuse. Texas beat UGA last year, because they prepared better. Congrats. LSU may not prepare well, either.
But I wouldn't count on it. And if LSU does prepare, Texas is going to learn the difference between BDF and SEC in a rude manner. Still, the game is in Austin, and the only viable question is what conference are the refs from?

We've already established that they do not fare well against SEC teams at home.
They have only won ONE game against an SEC opponent in Austin since FRED AKERS was their head coach.

Yes, but if BDF refs you never know ...

Key point I haven't seen discussed... LSU will only have one game under their belt running the new offense.
The Texas production loss is significantly greater on defense and specifically front 7. The old LSU offense would be a greater threat vs Texas than the new RPO/Spread.
