Not really? t.u. has only won 1 game against SEC schools at home since 1984:

1991: Auburn 14, t.u. 10
1992: Mississippi State 28, t.u. 10
2003: Arkansas 38, t.u. 28
2008: t.u. 52, Arkansas 10
2013: Ole Miss 44, t.u. 23

So something from 2011 isn't relevant but something from 1991 is.

Where does the article state Gameday will be in Austin? It very well could be and Herbstreit won't have to fly anywhere at 11:00. But I didn't see that in the article.

2016 Notre Dame finished 4-8
2018 USC finished 5-7

His point stands.

No, it does not. People were hanging from the light poles for those games (mild exaggeration).

Two bluebloods squaring off is must-see TV.

Now go back to licking Alabama's a-hole, Sergeant.

Hey, give the sips a break. They need one decent game on the schedule, because the rest of the slate is so damned pathetic - and the home slate is even worse. Without LSU, they wouldn't sell a single season ticket

It's so funny when they take the L. They spin so quickly. Several months ago they were very hostile about the idea that LSU-Texas is the better game. Now they conveniently never wanted it.

Except we had the 7th highest home attendance in in CFB last year at 97,712.

This is like arguing with... I really can’t think of anything but “aggy” so there you are.

I'm going to laugh my arse of if Texas drops their opener to Tech. Tech has knocked off some big programs over the years.

There would be nothing more Herman than for us to drop the opener only to beat the flagship school the next weekend. Would not surprise me.

What happened the last time we went to Austin?

Aggy is so pathetic. They never in their history sold out of football season tickets until they joined the SEC.

Even fake army "march ins" and all the other hullabaloo ca-rap ca-rap they call "tradition" couldn't get aggy's dick hard in nearly 120 years.

However, I just checked aggy's website and there are oodles of season tickets available (lots of non-renewals, I guess).

What's next to get that aggy dick hard and get them to sell out season tickets again? Midfield sacrifices, as in Rome?

A clown for a coach and a program always struggling for respect will do that to renewals. Spending like a drunken sailor as well to buy championships like that will work.

I’m going to watch the Clemson game. It will be more entertaining as Clemson routs aggy off the field. It’s going to be ugly for aggy. The aggy faithfull will be calculating the buyout $$$ for jimbo. But aggy will get the moral victory because they went to Clemson and almost won (kept it within 50 points). Advantage aggy

Texas has quite a few season tickets sold most years, but this year's schedule is simply terrible - I know because some of my friends that actually graduated from Texas (not t-shirt types that frequent the Internet) said there is no chance in Hell they are buying, or even purchasing singles.

Texas recent push to include SEC teams in upcoming schedules is due to criticism from season ticket holders, and I cannot blame them

Won't be at any Texas games this year, or in the near future, unless with a client
