Tennessee-Georgia this year, Ole Miss-Alabama 2014 & 2015, Alabama-Auburn Kick 6 2013, Alabama-LSU 2011 regular season game and thousands more.

Sometimes the best team doesn't win the game. It happens all the time. A close loss determined by turnovers and freak plays isn't judged the way normal losses are. Georgia is better than Tennessee and would beat them 80% or 90% of the time if the same coaches coached and the same players played multiple times. Tennessee got very lucky to win and Georgia got double unlucky to lose that game. At the end of the season after all the games have been played and all the teams have had full opportunities to show their strengths and weaknesses is when you know who's good and who's not.

Tennessee is a pretender. The Appalachian State game was no fluke.

No, the fact that UGA/UT was close was a fluke. Take away Florida the week before, A&M the week after, and leave the players and coaches... UT wins 95% of the time.

Sometimes losses are really losses.

Hint: In this case "sometimes" means "all the times."

Rolled up to the max.

The better team won. We should not have even been in that situation. Doesn't matter 5-0

Care to discuss which turnovers and freak plays lead to Alabama losing this game?

Turnovers are often forced and are part of the game. LSU lead the nation with a turnover margin of +1.8, while Alabama was ranked 25th with a margin of +0.5.

They won the game, on the road, fair and square.

Still butthurt huh? In your heart you know Alabama was the better team. If they played 100 times Alabama would have probably won 99. But LSU did nmanage to win an ugly OT game in Tuscaloosa. That LSU win in Tuscaloosa defined LSU not Alabama. It proved LSU got close but was NEVER good enough to go all the way with a REAL team and win the Title. Fair and square is another misused phrase. Tennessee won the Georgia game "fair and square" but do you think the pollsters give Tennessee credit for a trashy Hail Mary lucky ducky win? Of course not. There is luck in football and sometimes teams get lucky and win games they should have lost. We all know the best when we see it. And we know a lucky win when we see it. Justice will come for Georgia and Tennessee. It already came for LSU. 21 - 0.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm going to point out the obvious. You named yourself after Johnny douchebag Manziel on a message board. Clearly a fanboy. The epitome of a loser.

The simple fact that Alabama missed 4 field goals was reason enough to state that Bama GAVE AWAY that game. Then the fluke/freak Reid/Williams catch/int was another questionable incident.

In the BCS Title game, Bama made those same FG's and we all saw the result. 21-0. Bama was the better team all along and everyone but L5U fans knew it.

About a win?

In your heart you know Alabama was the better team.

They sure didn't show it.

Statistics say otherwise.

How? LSU had the most accomplished record of any team in the country even before that game.

It proved LSU got close but was NEVER good enough to go all the way with a REAL team and win the Title.

Last I checked, LSU won the SEC Title.

What's the success rate on a 50-yard field goal? What's the success rate on multiple 50 yard attempts?

What was the first questionable incident? Do mean Saban's questionable decision to attempt all of those low percentage field goals? Again, LSU was number 1 in the country in takeaways, while Alabama was 25th.

Here we are 4 years later and 3 more Alabama National Championships later and your butt still hurts so much you're defending a team that couldn't cross midfield in a National Championship game and got shutout 21-0. Your psyche really is permanently damaged.

If you want to talk about the National Championship game, then we can have a discussion about a head coach that was recently fired for his stubbornness. That game played out a lot like the first game. The only exception being that Alabama kicked a bunch of field goals again, got one of your fluky defensive touchdowns, and finally scored an offensive touchdown in garbage time.

I didn't bring up that game, you did. Yet you claim I'm the one with a psyche that is damaged? Sounds like you have insecurity issues.

Give it up. Move on. Maybe Herman will come to LSU, Saban will retire and LSU will win 10 National championships - but what won't happen is anyone believing your ill advised butt hurt psychotic assertions that LSU was the better team in 2011.
