Well, they've not exactly been consistant. They doled out some harsh punishment our first go around, and reduced it saying it was too much. The second time, they let of with hyperbole, not even finding lack of institutional control, then later came back and said that it was again too harsh and the comments unfounded. Were we guilty? Yes. Nearly a decade ago. We paid the price for it and we're now looking forward to establising some dominance in-state again. While the fella that brought your carnage in the 90's is regaining control and influencing decisions again. I feel pretty confident the end situation will put yall in a tie for 1st in all time penalties with the NCAA by the time it's all over.

Calhoun, maybe if you talk about Alabama enough, no one will notice how big of a joke Auburn is. Your entire program is a house of cards that wobbles and shakes every time Alabama makes a move. You are Texas A&M. You are Okie State. You are GT. You are that little shite in your own state that no one gives a damn about. Bammer was eligible for the death penalty in the Albert Means case. The head of the NCAA infractions committee said the only reason they did not receive the death penalty is because Logan Young was a rogue booster and nobody at Bammer knew he was paying players.
Milton Kirk was an assistant coach at Albert Means high school. He told the NCAA that Bammer coaches knew what Logan Young was doing. Lynn Lang later admitted that Bammer coaches came up with the idea of paying another student to take the ACT test for Albert Means. Malfunction Moore also walked into a hotel room while Logan Young was having a meeting with a high school recruit. With all of that information at their disposal, it is a mystery to me how the NCAA came to the conclusion that Logan Young was a rogue booster and nobody at Bammer knew what he was doing.
