How do you not take a serious look at mark Stoops?

Tubervilles age is not doable. Who ever takes this job on the cheap will have to earn every penny of it and work their arse off. UM will look for fresh face 38-50 yr old and a up and comer with the right price tag. I kid you not...UM has no money in the till. Agents have already been informed about what UM can pay and other details.

Cristobal was a very good head coach imo. FIU got greedy and now sucks again. FIU was nothing when he took over- the undisputed worst program in the nation. Cristobal took them to 2 bowls.

I wouldn't exactly call his North Carolina tenure "winning everywhere he's been". Not to mention he's going to have been sanctioned at every school he's coached at (waiting for the UNC announcement)

quote:galloway, et al, were talking about how this loss was unacceptable and miami has to get better. that kind of thing just can't happen at a place like miami. as if miami is some sort of cfb blue blood that is drawing 100k to games, travels well, tons of resources to commit to cfb. that's ridiculous. they had one elite decade recently and a couple of decades in and out of the top 25. throughout it all they wildly, rampantly cheated. the perception of miami football is ridiculous.

How do the gator and miss state fans feel about Geoff Collins? I think he'll be a strong candidate for the ucf job.

I couldn't think of anyone from the SEC that wouldn't want to be a part of the "U". They would go from being in a stadiums with 100,000 to 40,000 and becoming a "doormat" coach.
