#8 Stanford at #9 Tennessee (6 PM ET SECN)

Stanford is coming off of an upset over #3 Baylor. Tennessee is coming off of a win at #11 Texas. I have the Vols winning this one. I'm not impressed with UT coaching still, but I think they have more talent and are at home.

#4 Mississippi State at #7 Oregon (9 PM CT ESPN2)

Oregon is coming off of an upset loss at unranked Michigan State. Mississippi State defeated #18 Marquette at home in a nail biter. I think MSU pulls it off. Both teams are great offensively. But the eligibility of Hunter is a game changer for State.

Also shoutout to Texas A&M for beating #8 Oregon State on Saturday.

Currently there are 5 SEC Teams ranked in the AP Top 25.

#4 Mississippi State
#9 Tennessee
#19 Kentucky
#23 Texas A&M
#25 South Carolina

Personally at this point I would have Arkansas and Auburn over SC. But neither have the name or a big win to have them ranked so I'll take SC being ranked after a big OT road win at Purdue.

Should be another great year of SEC Women's Hoops to compliment the Men's.

I would have 8 SEC teams in the NCAA Tournament today:
The 5 ranked teams
Arkansas
Auburn
Missouri (last 4 in)

Vic really upped our non conference schedule this year. Oregon will be another tough test. We need to win that game to keep our RPI getting better.

I honestly don't think the voters watch November/December Basketball.

I bet in a few years if we were to decline that we would be ranked for a few weeks even if we dropped a few games to bad teams.

They did this with Tennessee a few years ago as well.

Early in the season and coaches are giving more bench time for experience when it counts the most.
