It was the AD not an assistant coach. Unless I am misunderstanding you.

All the quotes in the article are from the assistant coach, including giving out the info about the AD contacting the NCAA and AHSAA.

Gotcha. Didn't even read the article.

quote:

Our athletic director (Troy Faucheaux) has done his duties as an AD and reported everything he needed to report,
This is the guy who made the message board post.

correct

My point is I don't think too many high school assistant coaches are doing too many interviews about situations like this. They might tell him to shut his trap.

Washington AD contacts Savarese.....Savarese does not return call ( as the rticle mentions).

Daphne, Fairhope & Robertsdale call so now Savarese has to look into this.

I realize Savarese was the coach at Daphne And McGill and "supposedly" likes Bama.

What I am saying is when other schools in your district start bitching it has the potential to become something and now the kid gets put under a microscope.

With this said, there is no law about someone in Foley giving his Mom a job and would really hurt Foley not Bama if there is any wrong doing.

"our athletic director has done his duties...."

Lol, yeah and he also broke the law by disclosing confidential academic information for an active student in his program on a college football forum. What trash.

Pruitt is in his third year at Alabama as defensive backs coach. While he doesn't have ties to Foley High, he did work as an assistant coach at Hoover High School in Alabama while current Foley High coach Todd Watson was defensive coordinator at Hoover.

Watson said he wasn't aware Paige intended to attend Foley until Monday.

Don't think you can talk about a student and his academic standing at your school, which I think he did.

I only remember him talking about his phone calls with Pruitt, but you might be right.

That a student had discussed transferring with an administrator. That his ability to qualify was in question. It is illegal for a school administrator to disclose either to the public. Not even to mention how hilariously unprofessional it is to go on a football forum and post it.

If its not illegal, why is the trashball lying about someone else posting it on his laptop?
