It’s like the 50YO guy with with a gut begging the 35YO woman with fake boobs and with four divorces under her belt to marry him while making fun of a guy who wanted her to sign a prenup. It’s hilarious.
I’ve been saying for months Florida should just fold the football program and go all in on basketball

Maybe even go to the ACC and focus on hoops

Florida can be a top 10 program again in football.

You just need a better coach and to spend your NIL money more effectively.

Throwing away millions on Rashada or whatever is an indication that you have people treating NIL budgets like a ten year old with a rifle shooting the first deer that walks past their blind in the woods.

times have changed

Nebraska was once a top 3-5 program, now they’re not. Florida is in the same boat.

There should be a clause in a contract that if the head coach actually goes into negotiations with another school, the school should be able to invoke the "for cause" part of the contract and be responsible for zero of the buyout. Hit the road jack

Coaches that take another job don't get bought out. And agents and back channels are how these deals get done anyway to keep coaches insulated from any type of repercussions like the one you are advocating.
