The story may be. But, the discussion about it would be so much better if people would keep it contained to one thread. Having 5 or 6 threads on the same article is just dumb.

Both stupid. It's dumb when people start threads about other teams to begin with much less getting all happy when another team loses.
But, I think the difference is that you're talking about the results of a game and this is just the same article posted over and over. Then you have people just saying the same thing over and over.

Holy shite you are painfully dumb. The results of a game aren't as serious of an issue as articles written about a university cheating, mishandling any kind of harassment, coaching fires or coaching hires. Those topics get much more serious discussion because it's an ongoing story and not just a 2 or 3 day story.
