That’s very much a disaster scenario

Fully agree

I mean nobody will or should feel sorry for us because these sorts of years happen to everyone at some point, but combine that with a young DC who was shaky to begin with......we went from an above average defense to Oklahoma real fast.

Now play the Bama game with Burrow on a bum ankle

Meh I’m tired of the excuses. Tua was perfectly fine for the LSU game. His ankle certainly did not cause the air fumble. Nor did it cause the stupid arse throw at the end of the first half. We played a true freshman at safety over the last two games and actually looked better at times. We were missing Divinity at backer for the back half of the season. We had a true freshman start at corner from day one. Our offensive line was regularly rotated all year due to injuries. Bar none the excuses are old. You lost twice and now you can ever get some really good brisket or get an autograph from Mickey either way stop with that bs. Roll tears Roll! And no I’m not amazed and honestly I never was.

Question is, George. Do y’all keep him or find a third in as few years?

God it's awful. I get it's 2019 and we can't have our 2011 defenses anymore but I can't do that shite again. I'll have a hernia.

Damn. We spoke last night about it.

If I’m Saban; I call the shots now.

And you’re going the route of a third DC in as many years?

Seriously. If that’s the case, I let Saban call the shots.

It's hard to process after the last decade, hell last two decades.

My brain doesn't process that shite well. I'm just an ole SEC redneck. Scoring a bunch of points was weird enough, giving them up and having no shot at stops makes me queasy.

as stated earlier, we have to

some downright dumbass calls on defense all year, and absolutely 0 growth from game 1 to game 12 for the freshman

that's on coaching

I think he does after Kirby's Co-DC Schumman. Bama grad, raised with Saban/Kirby. Great ILB coach (another huge weakness since Pruitt left).

It'd be as much a "Saban taking over" comfort level as could exist.

Him being rusty from not practicing BECAUSE OF THE INJURY caused the fumble. How else would you explain it?
The throw at the end of the half was stupid, I agree. Stingley was the highest rated CB recruit of all time...I don’t even know what to say about that. Harris, Lee, Young, and Dale weren’t even in the same stratosphere as recruits.

You want to talk about a true freshman at safety? Jordan Battle has had to play a lot this season.

OL...Our starting center was injured for like 3 games and we didn’t have our RG until halfway through the season

Meh, we had no shot to stop LSU. That game was lost once we let them break serve early.

the double touchdown before halftime sealed it, we chased those points the rest of the game

Our only hope was Eaux grabbing the wheel and going conservative, which I thought maybe he would when it tightened up.

But more power to him he handed that shite off like he has all year and let his guys do their job.

Probably what they need then if you fire Pete.
