McCluster is shifty and has great football speed. His 40 time isn't surprising. I've seen him get caught from behind numerous times. He's just so exposlive from the word "Go."
agreed. You Ole miss fans are really good posters.

I guess my calling your CS a RB is a moral victory for you. Congrats.
Still doesn't change the fact, that he sucked and it was either because he sucks, or his coaching the last 4 yrs made him a soft player with a bad work ethic.

Andd.. no argument to why he was so bad, or his coaching was. Because there is none.

when you were proven wrong on saying that a running back has no business being 240... you tried to retract and say you said scott.. but the beauty of message boards is to go back and look.... you said a running back has no business being that big... then you strait up said you didn't say running back you said CS..

You stated that his time wasn't bad for a RB that weighed 240. It is. It's bad that a RB even weighs this much, but to then have OLinemen show more athletic ability, that's sad. Like I said, some would, in addition to blaming his lack of discipline, blame the coaches for instilling such a poor work ethic. After all, how many times on here in this site, have Lsu fans said that a players results are the reflection of his coaching? It carries through for your team too, right? Fact is, he showed up heavier than he should be, has underperformed what he should have. That is either a reflection of being coached poorly, or you had a bad RB this year
I didn't say a RB. I said CS. And he underperformed. If it's not coaching, and it's not his new ballooned up size, then what do you attribute his poor showing to?
i had to post this one more time

Says the guy who made a thread bragging about his ex-rb's stats at the combine
Yeah I did, but I didnt say he would/would not get drafted b/c of combine results.
YOu on the other hand, looked at CS's forty time and vertical leap and came to the conclusion he might not get drafted because of it, totally disregarding what he did on the football field. That's crazy and ill informed.

Nope, he was supposed to be first string, and number one RB for Lsu. Touted as the best in the conference, a Heisman potential candidate. You're stating that he's a physical back. Shouldn't a physical back be able to manage more than 60 yds rushing in more than 4 out of 9 games he's played in as a starting RB. And he barely got 60 yds in one of those 4 games.

Like rush for less than 60 yds in 5 of his 9 games? And rush for over 100 only once? Against Tulane?

i don't think anyone hyped him as a possible heisman winner. With no line help?

what does this have to do with his combine being related to lsu's coaching?

It was on here quite a bit before the season. And wasn't he running behind an All SEC lineman in Ciron Black? Seems that some coaches and many others thought there was some talent on that line. Heck, even Miles stated it was the best Oline he's ever had.

I was answering a question. Keep up.

an o.line has 5 guys on it.

No shite sherlock. And Lsu's coach said it was the best he's ever had. I would think and ex-lineman and head coach would know what he's talking about. After all, nobody wants to acknowledge that it's that coach that might be part of the reason Scott is underperforming and did underperform this year.

so do you have nothing to say about your blatant lie... ?

Do you not want to answer why his performance is so bad?
