Figured this might happen. I didn't expect Will to be at AU long so I would be fine with that.. Tough two to compete in Georgia recruiting..

I wish he was head coach at AU. I love Will.

If Muschamp leaves and has success at UGA, it will be Kirby that gets the credit . If he leaves and UGA tanks, it will be Muschamp getting the blame. No win situation if he wants to be a HC again.

Thanks. Never knew if they were players you'd remember or if their playing careers were a footnote in the bio. I think they both played when I was at Auburn, but other teams weren't as visible as they are today.

Correct, either Muschamp or Pruitt was part of the deal. A Georgia reunion I predict.

Muschamp going to be DC under a D minded HC doesn't make sense, but personal relationships can change that.

I don't really see it, but if it does happen, oh well.

It was on Will's recommendation that Kirby was hired by Saban in the first place. I could see this happening.

You would have gone to UGA over Auburn if, you had made grades...

He gets paid $1.7 mill and has total control on the defense. Why would he go to UGA and be Kirby's bitch after 1 year?

Because the Barners D is hurting his creed as a top DC.

This national championship appearances have don't absolutely nothing for your program other than get you a big scoreboard. It's impressive how little Auburn has built off of them.

But that wasn't the point. The point is that Athens, even if Georgia goes winless the next 10 years, will be an infinitely better town than Auburn.
