Maybe so…nationally. He doesn’t seem to be underrated around these parts.

College baseball can be weird on occasions. OU is a testament to that during the current CWS. OU wasn't all that good in the regular season. You've had a couple of ok freshman pitchers all of a sudden morphing into Nolan Ryan. Is that the coach or the players ? Every team needs a bit of good fortune to win a natty in any sport. FTR, I hope OU walks away with the natty.

maybe the freshman all got more playing time because the older players were blowing games . Skip said he saw it in the freshman early in the he’s but your not going to start all 3 of them over proven guys or you would lose your team . So you gradually work them in later in season to the point once they start producing you don’t take them out … that’s good coaching .

His team atm has the " team of destiny" stamp. Clearly wasnt a favorite to win anything, got hot and here they are. They got the sauce for sure.
