They refuse to invest in baseball. That’s why Sonny Galloway left for Auburn

Sonny was a Dick, plain and simple. He didn't get along with many people and wasn't a fit in Norman.

Maybe because Galloway wasn’t the right guy at OU.

He left OU willingly and he didn’t last long at Auburn because he was accused of NCAA violations that didn’t turn out to be true.

You say this like he was fired. He won a whole lot of baseball games there.

OU won't keep him long unless they get serious about baseball. Cant imagine they are making enough money with a tiny stadium to justify big pay raise

You have no idea what you are talking about. I played for the guy, and when he left for Auburn he did so because he had burned every bridge possible within the administration. His players couldn’t stand him and neither could boosters. He alienated alumni and he knew the financial investment wasn’t going to be there as long as he was there.

Look at what happened to him after Auburn. He broke rules that every program breaks, but he was hated so they got rid of him. Even with all the winning he did he ended up starting a travel ball team, then moving on to be Moore High School’s head coach, a suburb of OKC and just recently took the head job at DII East Central. Sonny never left anywhere willingly except ORU & you don’t have a fall from grace like that while winning like he did unless you have pissed off literally everyone in the sport.

I never said anything about him being fired. I said he was a dick. He rubbed ppl the wrong way and it didn't work out for him here. This isn't breaking news my dude.

$30 million doesn't go very far nowadays. It's going to take a lot more than that to make L. Dale Mitchell Field better than the 14th best facility in the SEC (that might get you past Mizzou and Vandy -- maybe). OU has done pretty well in a sport that their fans just don't care about.

Translated: OU beat our asses with crummy facilities.

OKC has obviously NBA and AAA baseball

OU football is still king but OU baseball is an afterthought

"I played for the guy"

Remember Mike the dedicated bus driver for the team back then?
