not with LA, but Ive taken from 4-5 trips to NOLA a year since I was 16. But like I said earlier, Im sure theyre mostly tourist

They mostly come from the less affluent New Orleans suburbs on the Westbank or Kenner.

and maybe we're having a different idea of what I mean, but if you walk down bourbon you see a lot of kids wearing hurley/ed hardy with sunglasses on at night, flat-bill hats, jerseys, wife-beaters, etc. Once again Im assuming these are mostly tourist

Yeah, that's exactly the reason. That doesn't make it any less true or any less noteworthy. We LOVE the fact that Oxford and the OM campus are a real live small town and not an aggregation of strip malls and condos (Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, etc.) or a neighborhood of a significantly larger city (Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa).
