Y'all need to get serious. The horns will be deciding the name of the conference.

OK was CSA friendly Indian Territory, But, sorry, Kentucky and Mizzou were border states, not CSA, and missing NC and VA seems wrong for the moniker.

KYs governor sided with seceding as did the people. The state legislature backdoored the vote and pleaded with Lincoln to send Federal troops. A Confederate government was installed in Bowling Green. One of the 13 stars on the Confederate flag was indeed for Kentucky as well. Our state was torn in two. Why were the heinous policies of Reconstruction levied on us just the same as you and everyone else in the South if we were loyal Unionists. Kentucky's history and role in the war was very complicated due to our location. My family fought with the South. That ought to be good enough.

The heinous policies of Reconstruction? Good Lord, man. You do realize that it was a cabal of Radical Republicans from East, TN and Eastern, KY that put those policies down? They also pushed through the first civil rights act (which is what most southerners of the time found so heinous about reconstruction -- ya know black men voting and holding office).

It is.... for a border state. (Jk. don't get your "muh heritage bona fides underwear in a knot)

The CSA maps of Confederate states and supporting regions and territories also include southern New Mexico territory (which includes modern day AZ, Tuscon and Tempe to be exact.

Let's add them and an NC/VA school to fully round out a 20 team all former confederate state/territory of influence league. And, still not let COL Reb walk the Ole Miss sideline.
