The fact that 2018 was the first time A&M had one or fewer home losses since 2010 and the first time A&M went undefeated at home in conference since 1999 is why we are trending up.

Wtf is this?

Look. Just holler at your wanna be rival (LSU) if you take three of the next six......IN FOOTBALL.

That would wake me up from this “rivalry”. But until then, it’s really just aggy ankle biting LSU for 3 or more years on a message board.

Is aggy afraid of playing Tech as well.

Why not play Tech home and home?

Same reason we aren't playing texas. There is nothing to gain from it.

Who said we don't want to play Texas Tech?
It's well reported that former UTex AD, DeLoss Dodds, said he wanted to "punish" Texas A&M for leaving the Big 12 by preventing all Texas schools from playing the Ags.
Guy is a nut job.

A&M and Tech are fine and will undoubtedly face off again in the future.

Doesn't make sense.

Obviously playing Texas would be the best way for aggy to prove their move to the SEC worked.
Wouldn't say there is not anything to gain.
What one gains is subjective anyway.

Are you that afraid of Tech as well.
Texas Tech is trash. You are playing Lamar and other schools in Texas. There is nothin to gain there according to your logic.

Come on up to Lubbock. We aren't rivals. Hell, we won't bite.

Just kidding. We will offend the shite out of you. Your fan base is scared to go there.

We aren't looking to "prove" anything.
And I've zero idea how a win over the horns would offer any evidence anyway.

I don't understand why some folks are so fixated on this topic.
There's bad blood.
Period.

Your fanbase is weird.

You are in the SEC. Why is their bad blood when you made the smartest move.
Now you go back and beat Texas and show them the SEC is superior.

Don't know what bad blood has to do with anything.
Did aggy want to stay in the Big 12
Sounds like you are saying Texas kicked you out.

Not scared, just averse.
For several reasons.
It's a long, difficult trip for little (no?) gain.
And to be blunt, several historic instances have left a bad taste in folks' mouths.

But again, I'd be stunned if we don't see a Aggie-Red Raider game again in the next decade or so.

Daddy LSU has to take care of things for you.
aggy will never be anything in the SEC if it keeps hiding behind other schools.

That's one way of putting it.
We certainly do things [intentionally] differently and won't ever change.

The bad blood has nothing to do with our SEC affiliation.

The entire world knows the SEC is superior.
Beating the horns 10 times in a row doesn't change that.

We're not interested in helping out a university that has acted as it has--for decades.

No.

Not at all.
Reread my comments.
Not only does UTex not have that ability, our move to the SEC was a response to an invitation issued by them and their affiliate university Presidents.

You don't see Florida hiding behind the SEC.
Even S Carolina. South Carolina sucks in football and knows that Clemson will beat them more years than not but they still play.

aggy wants all the benefits of the SEC but doesn't want to earn them.
Pretty much a welfare school. A leech.
Reason why the SEC should never have brought you in.

A cool Aggie. Wasn't ready for that. Getting my bearing...

Na we won't play. Not unless it's in some shitty bowl.

I felt like Tech fans were mildly understanding of A&M's position during the whole expansion thing in 2011. Much more so than Baylor and Texas fans.

But I'd also be surprised if A&M and Tech didn't schedule a home/home in late 2020s. Hopefully tech has their shite together by then.

The situations aren't comparable.
And they're (Florida and SC) welcome to do whatever they want.
Doesn't change the current climate between A&M and UTex.

No clue what this means.
We give to the SEC as much as we receive.

Oy. OK.

You're welcome to your opinion.
But the SEC DID bring us in.
And we aren't going anywhere.

Are we just going to deny that Dodds said that Texas won't play A&M and he won't allow other Big 12 Texas schools to play them either? Is A&M supposed to beg those schools to play when they can play teams like Clemson, Notre Dame, and Miami instead?

Your mindset....

Is we are in the SEC so we are now better than Texas

Meaning you want the benefits of the SEC without actually earning them as Aggy has not done anything in this conference.

You expect LSU to go beat Texas this year.
Truthfully don't want aggy anywhere near our coattails.

I never thought otherwise--that we are better than UTex.
Our SEC affiliation has nothing to do with that.

You're making up this stuff ... that's fine.
We've done as "much" as anyone, short of Alabama?
We'll get there; we're just in a hella brutal division.
We were told repeatedly that we wouldn't win a game in the SEC .
It's been fun!

No clue at all who will win that game.
But I do hope LSU comes out on top.
