Should Mizzou remove "The Hill"?

I love how Mizzou values traditions, but is it time to go? At least, most of it?
This is a good story about how the North End Zone is cursed -- LINK -- so should we mix it up?
I was at the game on Saturday, and I will say that the hill just looks sloppy. It reminds me of my high school games, people sitting on the hill against the fence outside the endzone. It looks great for low-attendance games, where it is open and clean, but looks bad for sell out crowds. Should Mizzou put in some permanent seating like the pictures on this link..? LINK

What's up with Tigers and Hills?

In time it should go. There are a lot of other improvements/renovations that can be done first while preserving the rock M for the sentimentalists. It should and probably will be the last thing to go but I think it will happen some time.

Depends on how well you fill up the stadium consistently. Granted this year it has been packed, but how is it most years? No reason to remove it until it is actually needed for expansion.

Absolutely. Phase III at least. You're in the SEC now where fans love college football.

Put in seats. Have an "M" painted over the seating area. Problem solved.

Only if you can fill it.

If you go back and look at some old photos of both stadiums, you'll see that Faurot Field and Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium once looked a lot alike. I think getting rid of the hill, and putting seats there, is the way to go.

I like the stadium expansion picture. That would look legit, IMO. It's on that google image link

Put in seats. Phase 5 looks badass doe. Sorta like Bama's stadium.

Isn't the current construction technically what is called "Phase II" in that fan-created plan?

Move the "M" to a historical display under the new seating. We could charge people to sit on it and have their picture taken.
