no, it shows that it's more than just a small segment of the fanbase that feels like the right decision was made (or at least the wrong one wasn't). congrats on your good season.

How about let's not judge between 2 first year coaches. One which has only been gone a year so he had all his same players for his system.

Auburn fans say this doesn't matter.

There are some Arkansas fans who don't get it either right now. I just assume they know nothing about football. All they see is the "wrapping" and not what's going on behind the package.

They also don't realize how good Auburn's OL is, if Gus was here there would be no Pittman, Skipper and Kirkland and our OL would be a giant pile of shite like it was under snaggletooth.

There also would be no Collins.

Thanks.

But I'd feel differently if the majority of Arky fans told me they had faith in BB and they think he'll eventually be a really strong SEC coach. But that isn't what we hear. Arky has a weird hate for Auburn that I don't get, and add to that, constant disparaging statements about Malzahn that are never, ever, ever backed up with even anecdotal evidence.

Nope because they got the guy they wanted. Stephens Media may have wanted Gus but the U of A never did. He wasnt wanted when they hired him as a WR coach, but was forced onto the staff by Stephens Media.

There's a reason he was called High School.

He was never going to Arkie. It was just too perfect of a situation at Auburn and that's showed this year. He basically gets all the guys he recruited two years ago and still has a lot of the same coaches.

I guess you think it was a coincidence Gus to Auburn was announced about an hour after Bielema to Arkansas.

Yeah, it was. But the coincidence is that AU's talks with Fisher burned completely out around the time Bielema and Arky got it wrapped up.
