Ah Ed I don't know, been paying way more attention to the Braves these days. I'll wake up and walk into the stadium next Saturday and it won't really hit that football has started until they actually kick things off.

Everybody knows that Alabama is good. But what prompted this thread specifically is that I heard an interview with Sabans on NPR yesterday on Sirius XM. I thought that was strange. And the oddest part of it was that he wasn't like ripping into the interviewer like he normally does. He sounded totally nonchallant.
I don't think enough attention is being paid to the Week One opponent. The interview was solely about whether or not he can win #7. I think Cutcliffe uses all this to get his guys playing like their hair is on fire. I think it's gonna be a good game.
Of course, you know I'm secretly hoping Alabama loses. But they probably won't. Really I'm just looking forward to a damn good game. If I had to wager on it I'd say Alabama survives a scare. Maybe an overtime game.

Well, unfortunately for everyone else, if they do end up surviving a close one you know Sabans will get their attention afterwards. Heaven forbid Duke were to actually beat them. If that happens then Alabama would most likely beat everyone else on their schedule by like 50 points.

It's 35 to 0 after 30 min, 2 nd string, 3rd string, 4th string play 2nd half. And Saban will still be screaming with 2 minutes to play. Book it, Bama wins & covers. 56 to 3
