Duke's talent level is bottom of the barrel. Saban's philosophy of throwing 11 5*s on the field and watch them play is more than enough to handle duke's 2* team.

I didn't say it didn't work. Buy a team of 5*s and schedule garbage teams every chance you get to make the playoffs. He had it made before he only had to beat one team a year. Now with 2 teams to beat his teams have been outted as frauds a few times. With regular players Saban loses to ULM and UAB.

Bama is irrelevant in everything but Football and has been on probation more than anyone else and more than not over the last 30 years. You just can't handle that Bama is irrelevant in football unless they are cheating. Players weren't beating down the door to play there before the cars showed up. They couldn't even get a #1 recruiting class. They barely seen a 5* unless their dad played there.

We aren't in the 50's anymore. In recent times Bama got blew out in their bowl game, while Auburn set records, made the Final Four and the CWS. Maybe there are enough rocks for your fanbase to crawl back under when Saban retires or has his talent advantage wore down by Smart and Dabo and bama returns to their Shula form.
