Reggie White is the only SEC player on the NFL 75 Anniversery all time team FWIW.

Tebow may be the best college QB from the SEC, but he will never come close to players like Manning, Namath, Starr on all time best QB lists.

Tebow will end up like Paul Hornung. A very good RB who sometimes throws a half back pass.

You're wrong, Tebow had a better career passing percentage, efficiency rating, yards per attempt, 2 less tds than manning but had 18 less ints. Tebow was the better passer in college, weird delivery or not.

I see your point but as a football fan (not a florida fan, but a football fan) you have to realize that Peyton played in an offense that asked him to do alot more as far as passing. 7 out of 10 passes from Tebow during his career were straight to the sideline, a 5-8 yard dig route, slant, etc. I am not dissing your Lord and Savior I promise, but to say this:

quote:

Tebow at the QB position and it's not even close

is just plain ignorant and biased.

But maybe I am just against Tebow in my subconscious...this was my 666th post....

The Bo was better than Herschel debate again. Stats/Championships/SEC record books don't lie. Look them up Aubies.

Gotta agree with you there Dawg- plus, Herschel finished 2nd to Marcus Allen in the 81 Heisman campaign (got ripped off) as a sophomore and then won it as a junior and went pro. No tellin' what Herschell's senior year might have been.

There's also no tellin what Bo could have done to the NFL record books had he not gotten hurt. Al Davis would prally have another ring I know that much, crazy ole bastard.

Possibly- but this was supposed to be strictly on college accomplishments. Don't forget, Bo also missed quite a bit due to baseball and starting behind marcus allen.

Don Hutson? no way. This is based on college, not pro production. Pro, he is a no brainer.

Reed rewrote the SEC record books in 2 years as a WR.

We are ranking actual production here, not a bunch of what if stuff you would have to rely on for Hutson.

No, production is only part of it. We are ranking the best at their position. DJ Hall broke Ozzie Newsome's record at Alabama- does that mean he was better than Newsome? No way in hell. We are going strictly on 'the best at each position' and that title belongs to Don Hutson at wideout.

A toss-up for what exactly? To see if Jahhmahhhcuz could read a playbook? JR is not even in the discussion as far as I am concerned. And to have Dwayne Bowe on there as an ALL-TIME SEC great?

Give me a break. Hey here's my qb list in accordance with yours:

qb - Romero/Stu Patridge (it's a toss up)
