Kirby went with something else on offense and that led to back to back titles:
1st halves: Pass heavy, Explosive
2nd halves: run heavy, clock killing

This is a learning opportunity for DJ. He doesn’t understand the nomenclature of football. This is his opportunity to explain what he feels an Air Raid O is. And it’s pretty straightforward and relatively simple.
Saying Mike Leach wasn’t really an answer because he doesn’t understand the terminology, he’s just regurgitating something he read or heard others discuss.

We have been discussing the monken offenses at uga in detail. You don’t want to participate in such a discussion because Reality proves everything you say to be wrong.
It’s bad when a vol can’t even discuss the uga win over tennessee.

No we haven’t. Monken doesn’t have an O system. He rarely calls plays, and just runs the O his boss wants. If anything this was Kirby’s O. That’s why it was laughable that he was bringing the Air Raid to Athens. Monken says he runs a wide open multi WR pass heavy O with a fully developed route tree. But in reality Kirby wanted a 2 route base with an extra blocker that was a low risk O.
