Ha, I was there for that my freshman year. The airplane was used during WWII for training. Our president at the time, Doc Foglesong, was pretty headstrong and wanted to do the flyover himself. So he did in that airplane which was one of the 6 aircraft we have stored at Raspet in Starkville.
It was quite lame as it was just a "hey look at me" from him rather than our generally good flyovers from the Air Force Base in Columbus.

That's what I thought too. The 'this is a winner's town...nothing can stop us now' part is hilariously bad.
