Don't get me wrong, I like Ole Miss. And, I agree that 98 was as bad or worse a year in terms of an SEC division's SoS and fraudulent SEC CG rep* there may have been, outside of maybe the 1995 SEC W or 2014 SEC East. But, it is neither here nor there.

MSU is a full fledged SEC West champ. No amount of cross year hypotheticals or #2 SEC finishes by UM will change that.

*Note: 1993 Bama is the SEC CG's most fraudulent given that they replaced an undefeated Auburn team on probation. And, later forfeited all of their own wins for 1993. So, technically, an 0-8 team in Conference play repped the West. ROLL TIDE!
