LSU could be better than A&M and still lose 1-2 more games. They have five games on the schedule they could realistically lose, whereas A&M has only three.

A&M could be significantly worse next year and still go 10-2. We just don't play much of anyone outside of LSU and Bama. It will be tough for LSU to finish ahead of us even if they beat us.

all of what you say is possibly true. I just figure LSU and Bama both beat A&M. That puts you in the hole to finish as high as #2

I think at least 6...TCU/UA/UGA/UF/A&M/Ole Miss...plus the others could play very well. Going to be an interesting year.

AU, A&M, Texas and LSU are toss ups. Don't kid yourself.

You'll literally be extremely lucky to get a single one of those.

You're angry because everyone but you knows that OM is better than AU.

I agree we could easily lose to Bama and LSU, but we could very well beat every else by double digits. Aside from our game in Oxford, I dont see anyone who conventional wisdom says shouldnt run out of the building

Who knows how good anyone is going to be. Last year most people figured Mizzou was going to be a bigger threat than Texas A&M. Ole Miss was much better than anyone anticipated. Auburn and Arkansas were more of a dumpster fire than anyone predicted. No one had Florida going 11-1 and Tennessee was much worse than we expected.

Miles would have to go full retard to lose to TCU. Running with your talent on that 4-2-5 shouldnt be an issue. As long as you dont go spread happy and play into their hands they dont have the talent to hang with you.

Not to mention I dont think Texasfans would ever shut up if the Big XII beat the SEC in an opener.

True, who knows. What I have my most confidence in is that the bucknutz will probably run the table to BCS CG.

If TCU can keep their guys out of jail that's probably going to be a very good team.

LSU and Alabama will be competing to see who wins the SECW again next year. I wouldn't be shocked if LSU is better in 2013 than they were in 2012.

I think that's probably true. FWIW Ole Miss kinda has a brutal schedule. The first half of it anyway... the second half is Big 12 bad:

Ole Miss

@ Vanderbilt
vs SE Missouri St
@ Texas
@ Alabama

@ Auburn
vs Texas A&M
vs LSU

vs Idaho
vs Arkansas
vs Troy
vs Missouri

The Vandy game is maybe a toss-up. I figure Ole Miss loses at least 3 of the other 4 in bold.

Compare that with MSU:

vs Oklahoma St
vs Alcorn St
@ Auburn
vs Troy
vs LSU
vs Bowling Green
vs Kentucky
@ South Carolina
@ Texas A&M
vs Alabama

@ Arkansas

Imagine Ole Miss starting the year 2-5 while MSU is 5-2... and someone ends up playing to get bowl eligible in the Egg Bowl.

Good by the small, pass happy Big XII standards. They have a very undersized team whose defense isnt designed to stop smash mouth football.
