I agree that we both suck but out of curiosity are we the only 2 schools in the West that doesn't have an education lottery to help make up for the scholarship limitations put on baseball programs. I've heard this excuse from Auburn fans for a while and was just wondering if there was any truth in the excuse.

Mississippi doesn't have an education lottery either, and we have 3 pretty good D1 teams.

Well every team has the same amount of scholarships.... Bama and Auburn just aren't doing a very good job at evaluating talent for their teams I suppose.

I know that and agree but if you can give qualifying instate kids a free ride and save the scholarship for out of state kids or those that don't qualify it does give some teams a little bit of an advantage.

Headed up to Starkville for the mid-week series with Penn State. Looking forward to and it looks like we will have decent weather.
