Bruh my family has served since WW2 and the last cousin here I saw her buried wasn’t even 3 years ago from a stint In Iraq, if you want to take it there, I’ll finish it

Congratulations. Thank them for their service. Our country is a great place because of people like them. Will you please point to the post where I said Texas m&a (teehee) is full of draft dodgers? I believe that accusation was made by you and you alone.
I would never say that about another school, which would disrespect those who served from said school, just to get a random point across in a rebuttal as to how bad my schools sports programs are. Apparently, that’s fair game for Texas m&a (teehee) graduates. Sad really. Kind of like your baseball program.

Bro you know damn well the context, the first female student at A&M history didn’t step foot on campus until 1965, you know Texas A&M was only 3 years integrated when the first black player took the field in 1970, Hugh McElroy, you know during WW2, the entire junior and senior class were given 24 hours notice to say good bye before they deployed, including athletes, we weren’t good at sports even in Texas bc that wasn’t easy, you recruit to an all white male military school, it’s in possible
So maybe you don’t like that we say we’ve been competitive since the 70’s but a lot of change needed to happen before we could compete, and you guys disrespect how far we’ve come, smh, even I said congrats Texas, bring a title back to the state, you guys can’t ever do the same, loosen up once in a while

Let’s be real, our fan bases will never be able to just say congrats without a black handed compliment attached, asking for such is pointless lmao

you guys stayed home to play football when we went to die at war, that’s still taught in aggy schools
You stupid sip, don’t you know that aggy singlehandedly won WWI and WWII?

No one says that, but only one college in Texas is literally known for actively running away from it.

With few exceptions, the two programs cannot be successful at the same time.
In fact, there hasn't been a single season in which both football teams finished in the top 10.

This would be the point in history where it could happen, but it’s a pipe dream bc they would need to each retain and split at least the Top 40-50 players in Texas annually, with the rest made of OOS guys, and to get there, that would take both winning their respective conferences in a given year min

quote:Literally known? Who outside of texags.com or the creeps teaching “fish camp” honestly believes that Texas was dodging the draft? I have family members that went to Texas and then also served. Nobody outside of Texas m&a (teehee) believes that Texas graduates have a knack for “actively dodging the draft”

And regardless - it has nothing to do with this discussion. Again, I would never want my school try to take credit for something my country did, but I guess that’s all that aggies have since they’re delusional and have literally nothing other than women’s soccer to hold over Texas.
By the way, it has now been 10,246* days since texas m&a (teehee) won a game in the College World Series

Austin full of hippies and draft dodgers

I'd take Austin over College Station any day.

XWing - you take the draft dodger comment rather personally. You must be one of them

quote:ok, I was born in the 90s so I don’t believe there was a draft to dodge? And I will always stand up for those who served, especially my family members, some of which were Texas grads. You apparently have zero respect for anybody that served that didn’t go to Texas m&a (teehee) beforehand.

That’s really sad and I thought they would’ve taught y’all better in college station, but apparently y’all don’t respect those who serve. Good to know about m&a (teehee)
And all because your fan base is getting embarrassed on a thread illuminating how pathetic your baseball program’s past, present and future is. Seems like you take those comments rather personally…

I served. And congrats to your family that served - why didn't you?
Posted on 6/23/21 at 1:06 pm to ColoradoAg
I went to graduate school, signed up for selective service to pay for loans, and then graduated and took a job. I was unaware that serving was a requirement to be an American citizen.
Sorry that sticks in your craw. Then again, everything remotely Texas related sticks in yours. For gods sake - you’re in Omaha just for the sole purpose of hoping that we lose on a stage Texas m&a (teehee) will likely never get to again
