For the love of God quit swinging on the first pitch. Auburn’s pitcher has seen one over the minimum and has yet to throw 25 rocks

Again, that’s fine but do we also want to factor in that UGA was on the road for our series? OM didn’t sweep Clemson or Tech like we did in their non conference either. They lost their series to South Carolina who we swept.

Head to Head is nothing. The only reason that UGA ties with Ark and OM is that they didn't play the powerful State team. If UGA played stated this season, they won't be 18-12.

I see the logic in your breakdown but that’s not a “sort of.” It is what it is even if it’s by a small margin. If the committee chose teams today and didn’t take all 4 (all 4 being deserving btw; I’m not trying to slight ole miss here, just stating that as of today they’d be the 4th team) I don’t see how UGA and Arkansas would get left out. I could have a different opinion Friday morning once second games have wrapped up

Looooooooool. Can’t believe Barn fricked that up after their pitcher was about to get out of the third with under 30 pitches, despite a hit and a walk

Both teams want to finish this game quickly, so that Cocks won't have to play game tomorrow morning.

I said Arkansas was a lock. I think they are because only Florida has more wins against group 1 teams. Arkansas is 20-12 against group 1 teams.

Which is fine, Arkansas and Florida are locks. But would ole miss really be taken because they won the rubber match against UGA despite having a worse record vs Group 2 schools?

I think it might depend what happens in the SEC Tourney at this point. Georgia has to not go 0-2 tomorrow. Either way the committee is very weird sometimes, it's hard to tell.

I agree that it’s still too close to call. Of course if UGA and OM face off tomorrow then we probably get our answer

no. they were among the last 5 in coming into the SECT and a 3 seed. They are not going to jump into hosting
