I question his decisions at times. Time and time again, I've seen him fix shite til its broke. Mf'er LOVES to change pitches when there is no need to.

Pitching changes sure worked well lol. Dude strikes out Deich and then he changes him for a couple of rag arms and we immediately get in runs.

They should've left the lefty in. Dude was throwing gas

He just pulled a John Cohen

That decision may not have worked out but Van Horn is not an idiot. He is one of the most respected coaches in college baseball. He was wrong about Coomes going around thought

we won't ever win shite with van horn as a coach. he enron'ed the hell out of that shite (Smartest man in the room)

Correct but Deich should have never taken that pitch especially after the pitch on ball 3. No way the ump was going to give him 2 gifts. He gave him one.

Deich had No business taking on the third strike.
I'll take three though.

I don't think he's an idiot, but he don't know when to get out of his own way. shite don't always work out, but he does this all the time and I can't recall it ever working out well. Might've been worse, but who the hell knows.
I'm not a fire DVH person. I think he can be a great coach if he'd get the f#$k outta his own way sometimes.

True. It may have been a shitty call, but when you are the big bat and it's 3-2? You gotta be swinging at that shite. As a lefty, I'd have loved that pitch down low like that. shite...if he'd have swung it'd probably be 4-1 now. Thanks!!!

I think Van Horn was hoping to strike out Diekman and the bring in Chadwick to strike out the right hander (he went) and then bring in Alberius to get out of the inning.
