SEC should tell the rest of CFB to frick off and have a 15 game round robin schedule.

It's going to be AU, UTk, and MSU for Bama.

They are not drawing 3 Big 6 SEC opponents

Will anyone? I'd love for UF to play Auburn annually again but they'd already have Bama and UGA.

We already have the situation now. Tennessee plays BAMA, UF, UGA. UGA plays UF, TENN, AUB. UF plays UGA, TENN, LSU. If we're not drawing 3, we're watering down the schedule for the big 6 schools and increasing the difficulty for the other schools who have been able to avoid the big 6 schools from the other division most years.

Well, the Big 6 are split between the West and the East, so it's going to happen as is with the cross division assignments as they are.

The point is that no Big 6 team is going to have 3 Big 6 opponents as permanent games unless all do under a new format.

Arkansas is one that can go many different ways.

Arkansas - Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss

Good football for sure.

Who would you like for the permanent foes?

You have Arkansas permanent opponents as Ole Miss and aTm yet Arkansas is on neither of those teams’ permanent opponents list

I agree with you there. But I do think the scheduling issue is going to challenge some teams that have had easier paths in the past. The prior model wasn't just about rivalries although they were the first priority. It also just made sense to pair teams on similar levels with one another.

Now, tho there are 8 "big 6" teams in terms of teams with national championships and schedules have to be changed completely to fit with more teams. A lot of teams that have skated by not having to play the top teams in the opposing division regularly while their division brethren did have to play those opponents aren't going to get that pass. And it will effect things.

I'm trying to imagine having the balls to pretend I wanted Florida on the schedule not because they're a rival but because I thought they're so bad and we're so awesome.
