Its true, in the trenches holding could be called a lot of times. But rarely do you see an offensive lineman reach out, grab a defender in the open field, and sling him down go unnoticed.

I live in Atlanta and there are some saying that the call made a difference because it took away the GA momentum. Of course, they don't comment about the LSU momentum being taken away after the call on Scott. Bottom line, both calls were horrible. The logical GA fans know that they did not lose the game on that one call. But it is unfortunate that poor officiating causes this type of arguement. Let them play football!

what does that guy have to be shitting you, right? all he said was even without the penalty call, wed have been lucky to stop chuck before he scored. what's wrong with saying that? is he not correct?

That would be called a takedown. You do realize that Ciron has about 150 on that guy? When he goes to block him, yes he's going to lay him out. It's called paving the road.

Geez, I think BAMA fans are more mad at the fact that LSU won than UGA fans. It's kind of satisfying to be honest.

Big #70 made a great tackle on Scott's touchdown run. It was a textbook hold as he literally grabbed the defender and spun him down like he had the ball. It's not that laughable to think a hold could've been called. The hold starts about the ten second mark...

Good grief. That's lame ,even for you. Do you get up each day just so you can post crap about LSU on a message board ?

It just sounds like to me you're bitching because you didn't get more favorable calls than you did.

No all I am asking is if the call on Green was wrong why wasn't there an apology for the one called on Scott?

I actually didn't say it first, just went back and watched a clip after another poster stated there was a hold on the play and it was a fairly obvious hold.

I didn't watch the whole game, but I saw that LSU scored about 25 seconds after the return. Georgia had 46 seconds to score with the same penalty. I don't see why people are complaining. (I do think the penalties were ridiculous though.)

Is that like the takedowns on Rahim Alem right in front of the officials face that he ignored twice, both on key Ga. drives. these excuse are ridiculous, from what I witnessed Georgia got a lot of homecooking and still couldn't win.

Whatever. From my point of view, LSU's oline lives on the hold like The Barn's oline lives on the chop block.

But Mr. Big Papa Mac, On that play you were arguing the "tackle" down field. How the hell does pushing someone back on his arse equal a hold? He didn't even engage his fricking man. I'm tired of your bull shite. All you do is troll an LSU board waiting for a positive remark about LSU so you can degrade it to boost the all everything Tide. Yes, I see beyond your South Alabama logo.

No he is not correct because that is pure speculation, he doesn't know what could have happened. what if Scott had run for a 80 yard TD run, then it would be something else, Scott runs over smaller players in the open field so it is not farfetched, but it would always be an excuse, just except the dam loss and move on. If y'all had one, we wouldn't be cryin like this.

You bet your arse there was. It reminded me of Scott's TD run against Bama last year when Big Herm was trying to help Mt Cody out of his jersey.

what the hell are you even saying? the first guy said best case scenario we stop scott at the 20 and still lose the game and you hop all over his nuts for saying something that actually makes sense?

every uga fan here has accepted the loss and nobody has blamed it on penalties or bad calls besides other team's fans.

It was a close line if anything.
Wow you gumps sure are pissed LSU won. Any rational viewer of that game should see LSU deserved to win. We outplayed UGA from the beginning. LSU made the plays when they needed to. End of story. Worry about your own damn team.

Like I said, Black did manhandle the initial defender and he threw a great block. After that however he simply grabbed another man and threw him down. Just watch the freaking play. Secondly, I'm so proud of you for "seeing beyond the USA logo." Other than me saying that I cheer for Alabama and support the new program here in Mobile, I don't know how you figured it out. You're pretty smart. I mean, I was with my wife in Athens Saturday, cheering for LSU because she is and LSU alum, but that doesn't mean I can't see there was a hold on the play. I mean, I thought LSU was going to win the game, picked them to do so, and made lots of money off of them doing so. I have no problems with LSU winning that game, the excessive celebration penalty isn't why UGA lost, and the initial UGA poster in this thread said that and you still jumped all over him. You LSU people are so touchy and sensitive.

because the game was played in Ga., and he felt he had to pacify them since they think this call cost them the game.
