It’s easy to send that message to Mississippi, but Sankey doesn’t have the balls to say the same thing to Georgia.

Maybe it does need to be changed, but that’s not for an athletic conference to decide.
But it is up to an athletic conference to decide where they will hold events, and so the SEC has now made that clear.

Please tell us dear egalitarian, why does GA Tech graduate such a small percentage of African Americans? LINK / Is it due to racism? When do you think GA Tech will start enrolling and graduating as many Black students as Bama and Ole Miss and State do? When will GA Tech be redeemed?

First of all, GT is an Institute of Technology and has VERY FEW ACADEMIC MAJORS in comparison to a traditional UNIVERSITY (from the root word Universal, meaning accompanying many Academic specialities), so while GT has maybe 50 "different" undergrad Majors the schools you use for comparison have maybe 150 undergrad Majors

For example a lot of Blacks go into Education because their parents were Teachers, GT has no education majors or College of Education, Black Females are well represented in Nursing, GT has no College of Nursing and there are other examples

GT has recently added a major Lit, Media and Communications, so maybe more women and a more diverse student body in General will arise

Based on the Academic Magazines, GT does a pretty good job of graduating Blacks in various STEM Majors, but we can do better and we are trying get better and be more inclusive

For example, GT built this years before Floyd was murdered, and before Conference Commissioners had to help force SEC schools to not promote Racist symbology:
Rosa Parks Sculpture at GT, no controversy we do the right thing because it is right

Video
Dedication of Sculpture

Think any of your favorite SEC Schools would build a monument to a Civil Rights Icon that has no connection to the school?

Again, either too young or ignorant to know better! Please look at the avg ACT or SAT scores across racial groups. Even lower income Whites have a higher avg SAT than upper income Blacks. There are real avg group differences between races, and GA Tech has very few Blacks because its admission standards are too high for the vast majority of them.

So you want high standards for your school even as you claim to care about racial justice, but look down on schools like Bama that have lower standards and are able to enroll a lot of Blacks.

I don't want UA raising its standards to match that of GT, however, I do want them raised from their current standards, and resent that people like you would holler "racist!" if UA's Black enrollment dropped due to higher standards. You are another White liberal hypocrite.

And you will live in White area of town too when you get older. At the ballot box, you vote like an egalitarian, but you vote with your feet via white flight.

So they’re going to punish two schools who have absolutely no control over what the state flag has on it. I believe Ole Miss already stopped flying the state flag on campus. Wtf else are they supposed to do to appease the communist bastards

And why does Georgia get a pass?
