If you were to do this, you'd have to have each of the 4 divisional winners determined by their record either A) Against their own division, or B) against their own division and the pod their division plays that year.
If you just chose representatives based on overall records, you'd end up with some fricked up messes based on the fact that some pods are tougher than others and some teams are assigned tougher permanent opponents than others.

Also, what about OOC rivalries with the 9 game conference schedule and a NFL type OOC schedule?
USC Vs. Clemson.
UGA Vs. GA Tech.
Florida Vs. FL State.
And the possibility of Mizzou Vs. Kansas and A&M Vs. Texas again.
And we also got to think about OOC rival scheduling for the two new teams.

Pair up 2 pods evert year & winner of each meet in SECCG.
ex.
Year 1: Pod A/Pod B vrs. Pod C/Pod D
Year 2: Pod A/Pod C vrs. Pod B/Pod D
Year 3: Pod A/Pod D vrs. Pod B/Pod C
Can do 8 or 9 game season.
Your pod = 3 games
Paired pod = 4 games
Other pod(s) = 1/2 games
ex.
Year 1: Pod A/Pod B vrs. Pod C/Pod D
Year 2: Pod A/Pod C vrs. Pod B/Pod D
Year 3: Pod A/Pod D vrs. Pod B/Pod C

Won't happen because UGA/UF/SC/UK play their in-state ACC rival in Game 12.
