You don't hearing us thump our chests about our 1941 National Championship

Because it's non-existent. Plus saying "Our only SEC Championship was when Hitler was still marching around Europe" isn't exactly impressive.

Actually, it's better than "We have a divisional title and Ole Miss doesn't. HAHAHAHAH"

As real as any that happened to you awarded by the Ladies Home Journal and such.

Yeah, the FWAA wasn't a valued sports publishing. Just admit. Ole Miss has six SEC championships and a national championship that's recognized by the NCAA.

State has one divisional title. That's it.

The greatest moment in your football history was losing a game.

Define "modern"

I say modern is post WWII on.

Only lesser programs put time tables on history

I know it really bothers Ole Miss fans that State has been to the SECCG, but that was one of the worst West champions ever, along with 2002 Arkansas. State got beaten 41-6 by a 4-7 LSU team that year. The west had two teams that finished with better than a 7-5 record in 1998. State finished the season with an "astounding" 8-5 record.

it doesn't bother us really. What bothers us are the State fans that have convinced themselves that winning the West is somehow better than everything Ole Miss has ever accomplished.

Define "modern"

i generally define modern as post integration, which means the 70s and on given all schools hadn't integrated until then. LSU didn't have a black player until 1972.

Why? So you don't consider the moon landing to be in "modern" times?
