College baseball?

I guess Mississippi State has a sport to be proud of, even if lacrosse is a more popular uni sport.

i honestly see a drop off in state baseball this year. No doubt they will be very good, but i really do not see yall passing the super regional.

You could be right. MSU caught fire at the right time like many championship teams do, but we'll see how they stack up this season. They'll be a very tough squad though, no doubt. It's a tough conference but I expect them to be towards the top.

No damn way Arkansas finishes that low in the league with the bats we have coming back.

did not have as high a recruiting class as hoped.

Well -- that is technically true.
LINK

What about the fact that we bring back 2 starting pitchers ranked in the top 50 prospects in the country -- that we didn't have during our stretch run last year? We just going to ignore the fact that we made that run without our 2 best MLB arm talents -- and only one true starter period? This year, we've got 4 starting pitchers with potential to be special early round picks...

Our offense is cumulatively the best it's been under Cohen. Certainly the best it's been in the BBCOR era. The new adidas bats are gonna blow minds if they don't lose certification after break in. We will miss Renfroe and Frasier -- but we've recruited lights out. Got to keep in mind that basically the entire team that carried us to Omaha were recruited when we were a total dumpster fire with no true guarantee Cohen would get it fixed. We only had 2 major contributors on the team last year that were recruited with the benefit of knowing that the program had turned after the UF Super regional run. All that to say -- our recruiting is in a whole different world now.

And I've heard rumors that Wes Rea has learned to hit breaking balls this offseason.

Yeah after following the link you provided, it's pretty easy to tell it's not legit.
