Wat? AJ played a hell of a game, but he wasn't even the QB of the week in his own game.
I love AJ, but to not give it to Johnny or Mike Evans is absurd.

Proud of AJ.
AJ McCarron, QB, Alabama
• Completed 20-of-29 passes for a career-high 334 yards with 4 TD and 0 INT.
• 5-yard pass to Jalston Fowler with 2:28 left put UA up 49-35 and proved to be game-winner.
• Also had TD passes of 22, 44 and 51 yards (four different receivers for scores).
• Improved record as starter to 27-2, including a 15-0 mark away from Tuscaloosa.
• Now second in UA record backs for passing yardage (passing Brodie Croyle) with 6,400 yards.
• 4 TD passes tied his career-best.
• Also responsible for checking at line of scrimmage for run plays as Alabama totaled 234 yards on the ground (568 yards total)
• McCarron was the Athlon Sports National Player of the Week .

I think Trey Flowers(DE) is better imo. He came back from a minor knee injury this week and first play of the game gets a pick.

Maybe I'm biased, but Mike Evans outperformed McCarron.
Bama got the win, but there are more QBs that had weeks like McCarron than WRs that had weeks like Evans.

Are you schizophrenic?

QBs will always get the love over WRs. Especially if the WRs team loses.

I agree.
1) Mike Evans
2) AJ McCarron
3) Manziel (2 INTs cost him)

*shrugs* Guess I'm in the minority here. I would have given it to JFF, but AJ had one hell of a game too. JFF's game came against bama's D which is at least not horrible, while AJ's game came against a horrid, putrid A&M D (sorry A&M fans, just calling it like I see it). That was the difference to me. But it is true that JFF's turnovers were huge, and AJ's 2 or 3 poor throws were harmless.

I'd give it to McCarron. Manziel played lights-out, and certainly deserves it too, but McCarron pretty much took control of that game. After the first quarter, Manziel played catch-up almost entirely because of how well McCarron was running the Bama offense.

RESPECT! I agree, this is a RS Fr, who's on the 2nd string, put into this game b/c the guy in front of him is injured, didn't have a bad snap all night, and kept the team that was leading the SEC in Sacks from getting any.

Guess I didn't think of it like that.
