Here is the sporting news article about it. Even neutral national publications are buying into the bias.

I agree, the SEC is telling officials to throw games. Can you imagine if the SEC were forced to have a 11-1 top five LSU team going up against #1 12-0 Florida for a right to play in the national championship? What a letdown, would that game even get any national attention? Ratings? It would be a catastrophe.

I do not think it is an outright conspiracy. I do think there is a huge bias towards Bama from many of the guys that watched the Bear dominate. And I think this was rampant in the 70's and it is bullshite that it is happening again last year and this year. Having to beat Bama and the refs was fricking par for the course in the 70's and it should not be today with replay and tv coverage.

When Bama played at LF in the 70's and 80's, you could ABSOLUTELY FORGET about a fair shake from the refs. Like I said, it happening again today is not going to fricking happen.

It is a problem that now has national attention See ESPN, Sporting News, 100 blogs. There is a definate bias towards the higher rank team. Yeah, bama and Florida you like it this year just like we did against Miss Sttae and UGA, but if LSU is higher rank last year you will be on here bitching too. (GATORS you will hvae a new coach and a very very youing team next year. You lose at least 16-18 starters. )UF you guys threatened to leave the SEC over this crap in the 90's. You were right then. It is all about the money. The billion dollar deal with ABC. It is sicking to taint Bama's LSU or Florida's wins with this crap, but if think the AP/BCS/USA Today voters are watching this, you are nuts.

It needs to be fixed and has been a bad problem for the last 5 or 6 years at least. They are either corrupt or incompentent (Sp) Would any of you put up with yopur football program blwing big game time after time and getting worse every year?
It is time too clean house in my opinion.
